CBOSS DEVELOPS NEW PRODUCT ENHANCEMENTS
Online payment solution provides flexibility and security to effectively manage revenue sources.
POLAND, OH – CBOSS, Inc., a recognized global technology and software developer leader, announced today several new product enhancements for its Central Payment Portal (CPP) application, a secure online solution to collect and manage funds.
“Our consistent goal at CBOSS is to provide clients with opportunities for increased efficiencies,” says Douglas Carr, Director of Technology. “Our new enhancements offer advantages that include modifiable reporting capabilities, new user account management functionality, online help from within the application and easier navigation.”
Carr adds, “These product enhancements prove that we deliver on our promise to our clients to provide new technological enhancements that make it easier to have all of the advantages of streamlined business processes.”
CPP is a secure, robust service that is within a client’s business, allowing each segment to collect and manage its own revenue sources.
The key component of this new version of the CPP application is a new and enhanced user interface, while still leaving the underlying data and transaction history untouched. Additional updates and new features will be deployed throughout 2017.
The CBOSS Account Services Team is contacting clients to provide documentation and training for the new application, schedule any needed migration setup, provide assistance through the transition and provide ongoing support to the CPP user community.
CBOSS, one of a few premier technology leaders, is based in Poland, Ohio, and delivers results to clients in 20 states, plus Latin America.
One of CBOSS’ major strengths for all of its online payment clients is its specialized knowledge of the Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards. The major credit card issuers created PCI compliance standards to protect personal information and ensure security when transactions are processed using payment cards.
To be PCI compliant, certain standards must be met: maintain a secure network; protect cardholder data; maintain a Vulnerability Management Program; implement strong access control measures; regularly monitor and test networks; and maintain an information security policy.
CBOSS has two certifications focusing on information security:
- PCI DSS (for credit card data)
- SSAE 18 (for effectiveness of IT controls)
